To advocate, improve and provide craniofacial/cleft palate treatment and services to qualified pediatric patients including reimbursement for medical services for the financially distressed patient meeting established criteria; enhancement of multidisciplinary approaches to the coordinated treatment and care of facial disfigurement; broadening awareness of craniofacial treatment options among the medical community and general public; fostering of patient and family support services; and the promotion and financial underwriting of relevant clinical research efforts all within the conditions imposed on an organization exempt under Section 501  ( c ) (3) of the internal revenue code of 1986, as amended, and its regulations as they now exist or as they may hereafter be amended.
