Cleft Lip, Cleft Palate, & Craniofacial Clinic The Foundation's Cleft Lip, Cleft Palate, & Craniofacial Clinic is held every Friday at the Park Place building at the Children's Hospital of Alabama. The Clinic begins promptly at 8:30am. ALL APPOINTMENTS are made through the Foundation office at: (205) 870-5342

Directions to Park Place at Children's Hospital of Alabama 1600 5th Avenue South, Birmingham, Alabama, USA From I-65 from Montgomery (North): Take the University Boulevard (8th Avenue) Exit. This exit bares onto University Boulevard. Pass through UAB until you come to 18th Street South. Turn LEFT onto 18th Street. Go 3 blocks, and turn left again onto 5th Avenue South. At the next red-light, turn left into Midtown Parking Lot which is located across the street from the Park Place Building. From I-65 from Huntsville (South): Take the 4th Avenue South Exit. At the light, turn left onto 4th Avenue South. Drive 3 blocks up to 17th Street South and turn right. Drive one and a half blocks to the Midtown Parking Lot located on your right. Park Place Building is across the street. From I-20/59 from Tuscaloosa (East): Drive into Birmingham and merge onto I-65 going South. Follow directions above. From I-20/59 From Atlanta (West): Follow into Birmingham. Take the Hwy 280/Hwy 31 North (Red Mountain Expressway). Take the University Boulevard (8th Avenue) Exit. At the light, turn right onto University Boulevard. Drive down until you get to 18th Street South. Turn right onto 18th Street South. Drive 3 blocks, turn left onto 5th Avenue South. Come up one block, turn left to turn into the Midtown Parking Lot located across the street from Park Place Building. From Hwy 280 from Auburn (West): Take Hwy 280 into Birmingham, Merge onto Hwy 31 going North (Red Mountain Expressway). Take the University Boulevard (8th Avenue South) exit. Drive slowly, the exit is a sharp curve. At the light, turn right onto University Boulevard. Drive up to 18th Street South and turn right. Go 3 blocks and turn left onto 5th Avenue South. Drive one block and turn left onto 17th Street South to the entrance into the Midtown Parking Lot. Park Place is across the street.
***The entrance to the Clinic is located on the ground floor on the right hand side facing the front of the building. The entrance is a single-glass door that says "Williams A. Daniel Adolescent Clinic." ***Parking is free for our patients. Upon leaving the clinic, ask the receptionist for the code to get out of the gate in the Midtown Parking Lot. Do not park in the parking deck connected to the Park Place building. ***Expect to be in the Clinic until noon. This is a long clinic due to the number of specialists your child will see. We recommend that you bring something drink in a thermos and any snacks you may want. But please, help us keep the waiting room in the clinic clean. ***If you need hotel arrangements, please contact the Foundation office. Otherwise, you may make a reservation at the Best Western Medical Center located at the junction of University Boulevard and I-65.
