About Dr. Paul S. Howard President & Founder
Dr. Howard has practiced Plastic Surgery in Birmingham, Alabama since 1986, and is nationally recognized as a specialist in cosmetic surgery as well as an authority in Cleft Lip, Cleft Palate, and Craniofacial surgery. Dr. Howard has his undergraduate degree from Florida State University in Chemistry. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine, and studied general surgery under Dr. John Kirklin and Dr. Arnold G. Diethelm. With the guidance of Dr. Anthony Marzoni at UAB, Dr. Howard studied plastic surgery under world famous Dr. D. Ralph Millard, Jr. at the University of Miami. Dr. Howard then studied craniofacial surgery with Dr. Tony Wolfe in Miami, Florida, and Dr. Paul Tessier in Paris, France. Dr. Howard has been board certified since 1988, and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and the Cleft Palate Foundation, just to name a few!
